She grew up in UK and she had to learn her language to be able to sing in it and she did get help from the Congolese movie director 'Ne Kunda Nlaba', Congolese rapper 'Smokey9278' and the all time known
Congolese Artist Nia-V, first Album with her singing in her native language Lingala. Who would have known this British lass, knew the language. She grew up in UK and she had to learn her language to be able to sing in it and she did get help from the Congolese movie director 'Ne Kunda Nlaba', Congolese rapper 'Smokey9278' and the all time known best Congolese guitarist 'Mboka Lia Burkina Faso'. In this album, you get her covering and making homage to her best Congolese artists such as 'Lokua Kanza', 'M'pongo Love' and 'M'bilia belle'. She also added her own creativity in mixing English with lingala in few songs!
